Local Interest

We have a trails map for walks on Volmoed and you may see some of the 70 species of birds which have been observed, so bring your binoculars. Numerous species of fynbos can be seen on the hillsides around the property. Information available in office or library.

There are 13 wine estates in our valley as well as 4 restaurants and a small farm stall. A discreet and eco friendly quad bike trail operates at the entrance to the valley.
